The Project Management Unit (PMU-USTH) and the University Implementation Unit (UIU) shall organize an international workshop on Higher-Education Equipment Supply and Laboratory Management Development.
The workshop aims at exploring what a consulting firm could do in (i) determining and procuring the appropriate equipment to be provided for the six different faculties of the USTH campus; (ii) developing a Laboratory Management System, and (iii) training of technicians for the proper and effective performance of the laboratories serving international-standard education, training and research activities of the USTH.
The presentations, discussions at the workshop which are to exchange information, expertise and experiences will focus on the following issues:
- Determination of equipment and facilities appropriate to the teaching and research activities in the various fields as specified for the six faculties of the USTH
- Integration of technical-infrastructure facilities requirements in architectural and engineering design of the campus;
- Contemporary Laboratory Management systems and their implementation at higher-education institution, relevant to the USTH;
- Training of technical staffs for efficient and effective laboratory performance relevant to the USTH.

PMU-USTH and UIU kindly invite interested companies and individuals to participate in the workshop, provide presentation on experiences concerned topics of pre-procurement consultation, procurement of lab equipment, site preparation, product installation as well as application support and start-up training, etc.
