On16/10/2014, PMU-USTH and UIU-USTH organized Workshop on Development andManagement of Laboratories at USTH. The workshop received great attention ofexperts, national and international consultants at construction andlaboratories management field. In one working day, presentations and discussionwas contributed by participants at the workshop with the following contents:

1. Proposalof consultant service for USTH equipment procurement laboratory management - byDr. Le Ngoc Hung, jointly by partnership between Institute of Applied Physicsand Scientifics Instrument – VAST, IPC Viet Co., Ltd and other consultants. 

2. Experiencesin development and management of laboratories in Viet Nam National University –Ha Noi– by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Van Tich, Head of Science and TechnologyDepartment, VNU-HN.

3. 2years of research implementation at USTH: Outputs and recommendations – byProf. Didier Lecomte, Director of Rrsearch and Innovation, USTH. 

4.  Services for High Technology Research Site –by Mr. Todd O. Curtis – Vice President of  88 Equipment Engineering and ProcessingConsulting

5.  Laboratory Management System ISO/IEC ISO/IEC17025 –Ms. Hoang Thanh Duong, Head of Dept. for Laboratory Accreditation, ChiefEvaluator

6. Experiencesin turnkey projects from building labs to supplying products in ITS Group – byMr. Vicent Au Yoeng, ITS Group

Presentationsand ideas of experts and consultants contributed at the Workshop shall be thebasis for PMU-USTH and UIU-USTH to implement the upcoming activities in theframework of Equipment Supply and Laboratory Management Package at USTHPackage.
