From 10 to 16 December 2013, the Project Management Unit had meetings with and report to ADB Review Mission on Project Implementation Progress. The Project Management Unit made report on the implementation progress of procurement packages, land acquisition, resettlement and handover of remaining land area, disbursement and general activities of the Project. On December 16, 2013, the Director of Project Management Unit and Representative of ADB Review Mission - Mr. Norman LaRocque signed the Memorandum of Understandings on the contents to be implemented in the next stage of the Project. The meetings and review by ADB Mission were participated by Management Unit of the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi, representatives of Ministry of Education and Training, the Artillery Unit of the Ministry of National Defense, People’s Committee of Thach That District, Steering Committee of Land Acquisition of Thach That District, Management Unit of Hoa Lac High Tech Park.
On December 19, 2013, the Project Management Unit had a working session with Madam Leah C. Gutierrez, Director of Human and Social Development Division, ADB on land acquisition of project site and progress of the design and construction of the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi.
